Average Showings Per Week – May 2011

Say it’s a particularly brutal week for you as a real estate agent. No showings and buyers seem like they are in hiding. Is it something you’re doing wrong, or possibly something beyond your influence?

This chart is a little widget we began including as a tab in our new platform. One part of the new Leap interface includes showing statistics for the area, updated daily. This graph charts the showing volume in Chicagoland this year, as compared to last years average as well as the 4 year aggregate. Its purpose is to give agents a quick idea on the activity in the market and provide some scope beyond what they might normally just hear around the water cooler. Signing up for a Leap account grants you access to this showing chart at any time- but we’ve decided to provide a monthly version here as a wrap up. Stay tuned for more data and more widgets via Leap Software.
